My name is Dawn Schultz or "Aunt Dawn" and I am the owner of A Dog's Life. A Dog's Life was born in 2010 and it's a family owned business. I have 12 years of professional experience working with dogs. I am passionate about animals ever since I was a kid. As a kid I would bring home stray cats which was my starting point for my obsession with animals. I love animals so much I had an idea of creating a business where I can be around them all the time and that is how A Dog's Life was founded. A Dog's life mission is to provide a safe place for dogs where they can be loved and cared for when they are at daycare or boarding with us. Each dog at A Dog's Life is treated like they are my kids, a part of my pack, my family. A Dog's Life is a place I call home and after all these years you will still find Aunt Dawn working in the Daycare with the pack.
What is Doggie daycare?
Have you ever brought your child to daycare before? Doggie daycare is a place where you can drop off your dog on your way to work and will get a lot of attention from our staff. We treat your dog like they are our own kids. We will make sure your dog burns off all of their energy with our fun activities. Activities your dog can participate are chasing their furry friends. Our Team
I am a retired Cincinnati Police Officer who spent 25 years wrangling bad guys and stray dogs. I spent a few years fostering pups for Louie's Legacy but, when I began keeping them all.....I realized I needed to find a way to love on doggies without having the ability to take them home!! Thank goodness for A Dog's Life Daycare and Boarding!! My love for animals is lifelong and i'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to play with and love on your dogs ALL DAY!!!
I am a Dog Lover and a Designer. Currently, I am completing my internship as a Motion Designer. At the same time, I am working with dogs. I grew up with Labradors, now, I have a German Shephard name Jack. I love working with dogs at A Dog's Life because it gives me an opportunity to learn about different dog breeds. In my spare time, I like to foster puppies with Circle Tail, a nonprofit. And, other hobbies I pursue in are saltwater fish, anime, and indulging in sweets!
I have been working at A Dogs Life for about 4 months. My dad worked at A Dogs Life when I was young and I absolutely fell in love with the place. My whole life I have lived with dogs and I have a wonderful 12 year old Red Heeler named Dodger. I graduate school this year and hope to attend vet school next year.
